YOU CAN FIND ME IN THE CLUB!!!

The book gave a really interesting metaphor comparing sets to clubs. Some clubs have relaxed standards (like the set R) and some clubs have really strict standards (like the set { x: x∉  2n+1, n∉ Z}.

The sad part about getting into the club is that you have to satisfy all of these requirements… the good part about getting into the club is that once there, you know everyone in the club shares certain qualities with you.

For example: When in a club like this

You can be assured that everyone is at least of legal age so having certain thoughts, while may be frowned upon, is certainly LEGAL.

Or a less explicit example, when getting into a club like this:
